On September 25, 2026, we celebrated the topping-out ceremony at the construction site of our new iFabrik production facility in Straßgräbchen. The celebration was shared with our employees, the trades involved in the construction, neighbors, friends, and representatives of public life.
Over self-grilled food, drinks, and warming fire pits, we spent a relaxed afternoon and took the opportunity for many conversations.
The ceremonial setting was marked by the topping-out speech given by Rene Opitz, the driving in of the topping-out nails, and the hanging of the topping-out wreath. The topping-out ceremony traditionally marks the completion of the building’s shell and serves as a thank-you to everyone who contributed to it.
