“Alone, one is unique; together, one is strong.”
Under this motto, we participated in the 6th SC-KRABAT Company Run at the picturesque KRABAT Mill in Schwarzkollm – and with two Grötschelianer teams.
A total of 15 colleagues, reinforced by an additional runner outside the competition, ran for Grötschel GmbH under the team names Schweiß(b)renner 1 and Schweiß(b)renner 2.
We competed in a unified look: with our team shirts “We forge talent! #läuft” we showed what Grötschel stands for – we support each other, grow together, and stick together as a team. Because Grötschel’s successes are always team successes.
Together, we each covered 22 kilometers, divided into two routes: five of us completed 4.4 kilometers, while ten others tackled the 2.2-kilometer distance. With excellent weather, a great atmosphere, and cheered on by numerous spectators, the run was a truly memorable experience for everyone.
The results are impressive: Out of a total of 87 teams, our teams achieved:
- Schweiß(b)renner 1: 32nd place
- Schweiß(b)renner 2: 40th place
Even more important than the ranking, however, was once again the team spirit we demonstrated on and off the track. The joint preparations, mutual encouragement, and joy at the finish line already showed what distinguishes us Grötschelianer: motivation, passion, and true team spirit – both in daily work and in sporting competitions.
