In the HyStPower10 research project, we aim to develop a system concept for decentralized hydrogen production, storage, and reconversion with our strategic partners.
Photovoltaic and wind power plants from 30kWp to 300kWp serve as a use case, which have to be switched off during excess electricity periods or for whose electricity feed-in high fees have to be paid.
The technically and economically advantageous use of excess current capacities from renewable energy plants at industrial companies, as well as the associated reduction in operating costs, is becoming increasingly important. However, the product concept is also a promising approach to stabilization at power grid nodes.
Grötschel is responsible for the development work of the overall unit in the cooperation project.
